Speaking of candid shots, here are a couple from the fall of 1954.

My father, class of 1958, seems to be standing by Williams Hall. The marching band, of which he was a member, seems to be warming up or practicing by West. I am not sure if they called it the Mucho Macho Moocow Marching Band then, but I am certainly a fan of almost every WIlliams insitution that has survived for more than 50 years. Certainly, the band commentary, both when we were at Williams and at the football games that I have attended recently has been some of the most snappy and witty writing at Williams, if, of course, you have a taste for this sort of stuff.
I certainly do.
