Sometimes surfing the Williams web is more like an archeological dig than anything else. Here is the History of Williams College Web Timeline project. It seems to be an attempt to provide a graphical history of the College in the context of other historical events. Here is a nice example of the possibilities.
Alas, the rest of the project remains undone, the main authors seem to have graduated and the result is now buried deep within the bowels of the College’s servers.
