Here are some issues that might be useful to discuss.
1) Does the College track data on how student performance at Williams compares to judgments by the admissions office? For example, the admissions office provides an academic ranking of all applicants on a 1-9 scale with 1 being highest. What is the average GPA of 1s, 2s, 3s and so on? What was the avaerge academic ranking of the the Phi Beta Kappas, the latin honors, et cetera?
Comment: The reason that this is important to diversity issues is that, when examining how, say, Asian students at Williams see Williams, we need to understand that Asian students are different from other students on dimensions other than race. In doing comparisons, we need to control for those differences, but that only makes sense to do if we can measure them accurately. See discussion of a related point here.
2) The Record article mentioned that college officers had access to some data that was purposely not included in the report. Do the panelist think that this data should be made public, at least within Williams? Why or why not?
Comment: This is, presumably, data about outcome measures like GPA, major, honors and the like broken up by race/ethnicity/whatever.
3) Have you (the three panelists) seen this data? Have you sought to see it? Would you be permitted to see it if you wanted to? How can anyone have a fair sense of the status of diversity at Williams without access to all the relevant data?
