Six months ago, EphBlog was pleased to debunk an urban myth about what happened at Williams in the days after September 11, 2001. I just discovered that there is actually an article, “When War Came to Williams,” by Professor of Art Michael Lewis about this time period.
Does anyone know if this article is available on-line?

It isn’t the full text, but if you go to the page you linked to in FireFox and then go to the “View” menu in FireFox, then into “Page Style” and from there turn it to “no style” (there is probably a joke to be made there connecting that menu item to my wardrobe) - that will then show some more of the article.
That site has taken little snippits of the article and put them into hidden DIV tags on the page. This is so that search engines like Google will grab them up, so that if you search for a bit of that article you will then hit that and perhaps then enter their pay section.
It is not the full text, but more of it than the little bit that is visible on screen.

It would be simpler to use Vew –> Source to read the snippets, but you can find the article in academic databases, with your library card. I’ve mailed copies to both David Kane and Eric Smith.
