Since Ephblog saw some of the sausage being made, I thought I’d announce that my Red Sox book is now up and available (albeit without a cover image for reasons I cannot figure out) at Amazon. Go to this link, or just search for “Derek Catsam” and/or “Bleeding Red”. In the weird and woolly world of academia, this will probably hurt me in a way, but hopefully my Freedom Ride book will see the light of day soon enough and staid academics will once again trust that I am not a fluffmonger. Or maybe they won’t. Of course I do not need to remind Ephblog’s sagacious readership that the holidays are coming up, and the gift of reading is a gift that gives forever . . .

The Hour is still very much on the air! It runs from 4-5 pm every Friday afternoon. The topic for this week will be religious discourse at Williams, and will feature Chaplain Rick Spalding and Mariama Massaquoi, ‘07, as guests.
I more or less stopped advertising for the show when it became obvious to me that no one really listened or cared. So now I strive to do my best because I’m interested in radio and in giving a voice to issues on this campus, but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t more for myself than anyone else. I love radio and love doing a radio show, so I’ll continue to work at it even if no one listens, but I did get realistic and decided not to waste the effort advertising.
Thanks for the interest.
Best,
