This is the view (not of the college, unfortunately) from the top of a small mountain whose approaches are praised by a particular Williams professor for their Hairy Honeysuckle.
I think that the Hopper refers to the valley formed by Mt. Greylock, Mt. Prospect, Mt. Williams and Stony Ledge–where Mt. Day takes place.
One of the most enjoyable things I did as a freshman was actually hike the summit trail over all three before ending on Stony Ledge for Mt. Day.
Richard is right. The Hopper isn’t visible from Pine Cobble. It’s farther south and (I believe) is visible from Rt 7 when you’re heading toward Pittsfield.

Is it The Hopper?

I don’t know what The Hopper is. It is The Pine, perhaps, or The Cobble. Are these the same?

Is this the view east from Pine Cobble?

Yes, well done.
Next time you should put your identity so that you could get honor and glory!
