In fact, however, most of the questions will be answered by David Kane, which means the answers will be snide, condescending, arrogant and more often than not based on false information, speculation or gossip.
You may want to consult someone who doesn’t spend his waking hours playing Gotcha with his own college.
This is not an EphBlog. It is a KaneBlog, and its interests are not consistent with the best interests of Williams College.

One thing that can be said of David’s opinions: as far as I know, he has never posted something without his name. It’s a habit more people should be willing to adopt.

Who decides what is in the College’s interest?

The College Interest Officer?

Anyone but Joe Masters, Yale Law voyeur extraordinaire.

Are “Yale Law” and “voyeur” indicators of independent qualities, or should they be consistently linked?

Perverts, Pederasts, whatever.
I’d like to see a full accounting of this situation from the Kane. After all, he’s been quite solicitous to expose other sex criminals.
This is exceptionally interesting, though.

Despite a little googling, this thread makes no sense to me.
As to whether or not my advice is “snide, condescending, arrogant and more often than not based on false information, speculation or gossip,” well, you can ask the Eph senior that I just spent 45 minutes talking to about his soon-to-start career in quantitative finance. I like to think that he found the advice valuable, but perhaps he was just being polite.
Anyway, the CC thread linked above included this question:
Cruz, as a former EphBlog author, is obviously an excellent choice. If DIV III isn’t your thing, I would do STAT 101 (or 201) as the single course. Statistics are much more likely to be useful elsewhere than physics. Also, the more classes you take with Sam Crane, the happier you will be.

Don’t worry, Dave, I wasn’t just being polite; I legitimately found your advice very helfpul. And yes, I’ll stop paying attention to the blogs shortly.

Kane,
I think they are talking about this link. I cannot believe my googling skills are better than yours. I believe this is an ex-CC President.
