She was going to be an ‘08, David, but it appears she transferred. That’s why it says “former Williams student” in the thread.

No David, I’m 100 percent sure she never sang at Williams or anywhere else. Either (a) she is an outstanding actor poking fun at the ridiculous level of America’s Idol obsession, (b) somewhat off her rocker, or (c) a little of both. (For those who didn’t see it, she is an admitted tone deaf singer, and when asked her motivation suggested that they could teach her to sing during the competition — it would have been pretty funny, except that she was extremely emotional to the point that it almost seemed like she was serious, although I still doubt that’s possible … I think she was just clever enough to find an angle to get on TV)
