Today, a federal judge ruled that a portion of the Patriot Act is unconstitutional. The case was brought by the ACLU, and argued by Jameel Jaffer, who I believe graduated from Williams in 1996 (possibly 1995). More on Jameel here.

Well arguing to get Tariq Ramadan into the country? Yeah, I’d call that support for terrorism.
The case Jeff posted about, not as much; that seems like a perfectly reasonable position and result.

I certainly don’t agree with everything this guy says, but I don’t see any reason why he should be excluded from speaking engagements in the U.S., at least based on this bio.
