I am looking for feedback from readers about Eph Planet (also available from a link on the right side of the page). Do you use it? Do you like it? What would make it better?
I think Eph Planet is great. I enjoy reading about what a random cross-section of Ephs are doing with their lives. But, if our usage statistics from Google Analytics are correct, very few other EphBlog readers find the link useful. Comments welcome.

Not drawn to it - don’t want to be. But you don’t and shouldn’t care about the curmudgeon vote.

Like Obama.

It’s barely noticeable.

Eph Planet is alien to any specific purpose other than as a forum for alumni in which to provide random musings with “much to do about nothing”.
It does not edify, teach, instruct, persuade, inform or explain. It is the random thoughts of interesting individuals rambling about their immediate personal feelings or musings.
One cannot improve that which does not lend itself to structured change. It is a great forum for precisely what it is: “A forum for the fairness doctrine.”
Now were we allowed to insult, to make noise, to invade one’s conscience, one’s consciousness and challenge the prejudices of our audience, it might make for good and contentious reading.
Of course, politeness and that gentle touch, begs we leave those who “carry on their conversation” alone.
We need a drawing room for men only. A room where men rant and spar and remain irreverent. A room where cigars are common and spittoons aplenty. A room where words do not incite the boredom of egalitarian uniformity.
Perhaps such a blog room would grant heated debates on restive subjects that would raise the bar of our elitist sensibilities.
I trust such a blog would never concede to the insensibilities of our modest audience. I wish we could have such a blogsite, where crusades can be resurrected and our men can form Houses where we could gather our forces and rout our adversaries.
Ah,yes, but where are our men? Males yes, but where are the men? It appears that shadows of men prevail upon our dimlit social networks.
Society today does not tolerate the provenance of men. Our Amazonian infrastructure demands obeisance to feminine principles.
Nowardays each tends to his own. The only common ground we hold is the internet. We live our lives through it. It is to the printing press that preceded the reformation. To reform and possess the basis for that reform requires a medium that will allow for the further advancement of our understandings.
Best wishes on your good intentions.
