As a sidebar, I tried just a simple cadence at our reunion march around the campus - “I don’t know but I’ve been told, ‘56 is mighty old” and didn’t get one response. I didn’t dare substitute the eskimo version!
You should have substituted the eskimo version Dicks. It is so much cooler and no one would ever forget it, unlike the Mountains. What kind of a organization wants to sing about trees and such, when you can sing about death and sex? You guys need some new traditions.
Oh- and whatever happened to the snow sculpture tradition? That had to be the one of the better ones. Better than photoshop, in many cases. How come that stopped?
If David is into rasterbation (in spite of that warning paragraph in the Boy Scout Handbook), he has a file on the site. My printer is only 8.5 x 11 so there doesn’t seem much point.
Tropic Thunder! See the movie: Stiller, Black, Downey Jr, Nolte and Tom Cruse as you have never seen him before! Coppola must break out in cold sweats with the Ride of the Valkyries echoing in his brain.
PTC - The snow sculpturing is still on the schedule for Winter Carnival, but none of the Winter Carnival weekends when I was at Williams had sufficient snow to actually hold the thing.

Looking pretty dang good, Dave!
If I were you I would ask Swart to blow this up in poster form so you can put it up in your workplace. It’s an instant conversation piece!
(Dick, this may be a PB!…which [lest I be misunderstood], stands for Personal Best…)

He made it out to Amherst he was creeping down the halls
He heard them talking SAT and blogged about it all
Then he kicked in the door and bust into the room
The last thing those Lord Jeff’s saw before they met their doom
Was a CAR 15 and a couple of frags
He ran that college out of body bags
Singing ooo ra hey!
Eph blog day!
Just another Ephblog day
That’s the David Kane way!

This was very good. Soph mom’s suggestion of a posterized version can be accomplished using the rasterbator: http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

I wasn’t really into most of Dick’s previous work since the Donald Theatre, but this is excellent. Kudos.

A masterpiece doesn’t just happen along…it takes perseverance, and dedication from the artist.
And might I mention that good sportsmanship (on the part of the artist’s muse) is a contributing factor as well?
Hats off to Dick, and to Dave.
