Do we have any news of his father?

Here is Krissoff’s half-staff flag at Williams during Christmastime, taken two years ago:
Edit: apparently there are no pictures allowed in the comments. I have added the photo to David’s post.

If anyone reading this is in contact with the Krissoff family, please tell them that we think of them and remember Nate. And please tell Dr. Krissoff that I was touched by his enlistment, and am grateful for his service.
Stew Menking maintains a list of Ephs in service, and we write to them. http://www.ephblog.com/2008/11/10/felipe-perez-99-deployed-to-afghanistan/
December 10th, 2008 at 12:36 pmI would like to add Dr. Krissoff as an honorary member of the list, if someone will provide the contact information. I seem to remember that Nate’s brother is in uniform as well; if so, I’d hope his name could also be added.

Diana – the picture isn’t showing.

lgeorge – I know. Ephblog and Wordpress were running v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y, so it took a few minutes. Finally, I fixed it. It is there now. I hope David doesn’t mind.

Diana – now it is. Thank you. That’s a particularly fitting photograph.

Beautiful photo. Thanks Diana.
I too, would welcome news about Nate’s father. I was so touched by his joining the service and volunteering his medical skills as a tribute to his son. I would also like to include him, and Nate’s brother, on my card list.

Diana- Your photo is as poignant as the names in the Memorial Chapel.

Thanks, lgeorge, frank, sophmom, and Parent ‘12. I am no longer taking new pictures at Williams, but I hope to keep bringing back old ones when they fit, so that EphBlog has more than just text.

Thanks to everyone in the Williams community for keeping the Krissoff family in their thoughts and prayers. Austin is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton and will deploy to Iraq for his second tour sometime next year. Bill has spent the better part of ‘08 training in Military Medicine and will also be deployed next year to a “level 2″ area in Iraq, where he will work with a surgical team, treating Marines. We continue to honor Nate’s work and ultimate sacrifice for our country. emails can be sent to me at cmkrissoff@gmail.com
