Congratulations to Mr. Cramer’s daughter, who was accepted ED to the Williams class of 2013.

She should buy Cramer a purple sweater, and give it to him on camera.
Didn’t he look thrilled? Thanks for finding this for us- that Proud Papa glimpse was a treat.

He’s a nice guy, much calmer and surprisingly down-to-earth in person (resident of Summit, NJ) and a member of the shul that my family still goes to. I run into him from time to time when I’m back in Jersey for holidays and such. I’ll have to congratulate him and his daughter next time I see them.

Loweeel,
I have heard the same thing from someone who knows him…”really nice and really smart” is more or less what they said, which made me feel bad about the fact that I made a snide remark the first time I saw him posted alongside E. Burnett.
sophmom says:
Well, I just watched the footage (yup, I know, kind of a back-ass-wards way of dealing with a post, comment first, and then look at the subject of the post, (sigh, sorry…)), and you’re right LG, what a treat to see that side of Jim Cramer. Congratulations to his daughter on her acceptance, and to him, for helping to get her to this point.
It should be fun to see if he and Burnett sneak the Eph connection into their future repartee.

I don’t watch the show (I’m ducking, dodging rotten tomatoes hurled by avid Burnett fans), so I hope that anyone who does see future Eph connections will post links for us. And thanks for this one.`

It was a genuine moment on the air between two friends. Small confession to make – I’m not an alum but did go to a NESCAC rival (NOT Amherst) and EB’s prep school. I read Ephblog because I’m a big believer in NESCAC principles and it’s probably the best blog in the NESCAC. If only my alma mater had such a blog.
