FWIW, there is a WOC lean-to near the tri-state marker, though it's deliberately hard to find and not marked on maps. I think this is because there was some concern about it being used by hunters, or townie kids throwing parties, or something like that (the WOC history mentions that there have been a lot of problems with previous cabins).

The tubs look great. I wish I had been there but, as you probably guessed since I didn't know what you were talking about, I have not been. Thanks for reminding me about the swimming hole series.

Yes, I have been to the snow hole, as it is about a 30-minute run from the parking area at Petersburg Pass. I was planning for us to stop by there on the way back from the tri-state point, but 3.5 hours of adventure was enough, so I opted to go straight back to the car.

What are the tubs?

A reprisal of the Photo ID sounds good. I like the idea of thematic entries. It is too bad that I can't take new pictures, as that would be more interesting. However, many EphBlog readers are not even familiar with the series, and those who are would probably not mind seeing the same pictures again. I will get back to you about this.

Lovely adventure. Kind of feel like I don't need to do my daily jaunt now.

Ditto from me about your photos, Diana. I would love to see them posted.

Good stuff. I would love to see you revisit your photo ID series. Or maybe just post some thematic encores / reprisals (like, e.g., a series of all the sculpture on campus or something).
