JeffZ says:
I was anxiously awaiting Swart’s take on all of this (I was thinking a purple pile of McNuggets, but this is better) …
Dick Swart says:
JeffZ,
My reaction to almost all of the comments under the Great MacNuggets hazing/arrest those responsible/pillory the college is:
WTF!
frank uible says:
Hazing? Hazing? Any self respecting glutton would look forward to ingesting 100 McNuggets!
JeffZ says:
Dick and Frank, amen and amen. For the first time in probably two years I ate chicken mcnuggets tonight at the Union Station McDonald’s, in a show of solidarity with the Eph football team.
Jr. Mom says:
I missed this thread somehow. If I had seen it before engaging over the “hazing”, I would have said “Ditto” to Swart at #2, and left it at that.
But just to be safe, I think I’ll email all coaches and insist they accompany any and all athletes planning an outing to McDonalds or Jack’s. After all, you never know when a spontaneous eating contest might happen.
And Woolf better instigate portion control on their outings. And absolutely no trips to the ice cream parlor for frosh.
PTC says:
Honestly- you guys are inviting trouble with this kind of attitude about the events described on the thread in question… just my humble opinion.
Let them eat cake.. er.. whatever I guess. Good luck with this issue in the future.
Dick Swart says:
I know that very few read ‘comments’, particularly on the kind of half-assed stuff that I post, so I tuck this question in here.
Do the comment-constant campus-calamiteers, haranguing-harpers, anal-analysts, and doom-desirers ever have any fun?
If yes, please provide examples.
