Forbes ran a feature on Perk Perkins ‘75 a few weeks back. What other name could the CEO of Orvis possibly have?

Perk succeeded his dad, also an Eph, at the helm of Orvis.

Heads up to articles like these are my favorite part of EphBlog. I own a fair amount of Orvis attire — pleased to know that I was supporting some Ephs. Much appreciated find, Mr. Z!

Yes, this article is very interesting, good to know the Williams connections. Thumbs up!

That makes at least two Forbes features on graduates of the Class of ‘75. Around eight years ago Forbes ran a feature on Jimmy Lee of JP Morgan Chase.

Seems to be class of 75 day at Ephblog … now all we need is a Coakley post … must have been an interesting year to be on campus …

Rechtal Turgidley, Jr assures me that Mr Perkins’ emporium carries quality outfittings for those interested in tweed and leather. Years ago, Orvis bought Gokey’s and continues to offer the famous shoe line including the classic snakeproofs.
As a sidebar, may I add that through all the years of our friendship and adventures, the Gokey snakeproofs are the only footware without laces that I have ever seen Rechtal wear!
