Dick Swart says:
I have received a communique from a reliable source informing me that the window over the doorway portico as seen in the old photo was blocked and the ‘goat room ‘ constructed in the space.
My source, who wishes only to be known as ‘Deep Purl’, adds that passers-by have often heard this chant late at night coming from the house:
Knit 6, *purl 2, knit 6. Repeat from * to end of row.
Knit 1, *purl 4, knit 4. Repeat from * to last 5 stitches, purl 4, knit 1.
Purl 2, *knit 2, purl 2. Repeat from * to end of row.
Can anyone add to the arcana?
